MONROL UAE was incorporated in 2005 to combine the resources of two organizations:

• UNIMED - (United Medical Supplies (UNIMED) L.LC) a subsidiary company owned and operated by Mohamed and Obaid Almulla LLC.
• Monrol (Nuclear Products and Medicine Industry Inc) a radiopharmaceutical manufacturer having already established successful production plants in seven cities in Turkey jointly formed a strategic partnership in order to establish a reliable supply of radiopharmaceuticals in the Gulf region.

On the 27th January 2010, at the Monrol UAE Office in Dubai, an inauguration event was held in the presence of H.E. Qadhi Saeed Al Murooshid, Director General of the Dubai Health Authority celebrating the fruit of the establishment of a joint venture that produced FDG (Flurodeoxyglucose), which is the latest clinical advancement in the diagnosis of Oncological, Cardiovascular and Neurological conditions.
